Ana Antje Bendfeldt was born in Kiel in 1956 with a brush in her hand and grew up on the Baltic Sea. She is self-taught and lives with her husband and 12 cats on a small avocado and banana finca on La Palma and in Grömitz near the Baltic Sea since 2016.

All pictures in this gallery were painted on the "Isla Bonita La Palma" in the years 2019-2022. They reflect her connection to nature and the small and large wonders of the universe. In particular, her great love for her cats, for the angels and for the painter Frida Kahlo runs like a red ribbon through all her works.
